The sale that has produced seven Royal Ascot winners in seven years, including last year’s winners BRADSELL and PERFECT POWER.

 

We were very taken by this horse, who for a tall, imposing type, retains great athleticism. He landed a very respectable time in the breeze, displaying an enormous stride, and had a lot of presence about him at inspection. We were looking for a horse to put in training with Jack Channon since taking over from his father this year, and it seemed fortuitous that this colt would appear when both of the parents, BUNGLE INTHEJUNGLE and KERRY’S REQUIEM, were trained by the great Mick Channon himself. 

This horse is cleaned legged with a great physique, and was an easy choice to shortlist at inspection. He looks as though he will race effectively at three as well as two, being from a KING’S BEST mare. His dam descends from a classy family and he may just pleasantly surprise us with his ability. - RICHARD RYAN

Pedigree

He looks like a 6/7f horse for this year, and may just stay a mile as a three-year-old. His sire BUNGLE INTHEJUNGLE was a precocious two-year-old over 5f, as the winner of both the Cornwallis and Molecomb Stakes, with speed injected into the sire line from the “bullet”, EXCEED AND EXCEL.

His dam has some serious form too as a black-type performer, and was rated 102 as a two-year-old. She has produced two winners, including LYTHAM ST ANNES, who won nine times during his career, securing over £120,000 in prize money. She descends from a classy family, with a particularly noteworthy grandam, MOONLIGHT DANCE, who won the Group 1 Prix SaintAlary on her debut, and produced a number of black-type winners in France. Our colt's damsire, KING’S BEST, was the winner of the 2000 Guineas and a producer of high class three-year-olds as a stallion.
