A Superb Start to the New Year
GOD OF FIRE gets 2023 off to a brilliant start, winning the 9.5f Maiden Stakes at Wolverhampton.
Despite being overtaken in the betting by SNIPER'S EYE, GOD OF FIRE left no room for doubt when turning for home, securing a comfortable two-length win under jockey Sean Levey.
He improved notably on his first run when taking fourth place last time out, despite not getting the clearest path, and did well for the step up in trip today, being bred to stay on his dam's side (LORETO). His sire, MUHAARAR, is known for throwing smart three-year-olds, so he is a very exciting horse for us this year!

Race Review
GOD OF FIRE continued his progress with a convincing success. Always travelling powerfully, it was just a question of how much he would find when asked and the answer was plenty. He is bred to stay on the dam's side so the step up in trip suited and there should be more to come.
