REWIRED showed his class in a valiant battle over the line against SERGEANT at Huntingdon in the 2m Handicap Hurdle.

Held wide throughout and making the challenge two flights from home, REWIRED was briefly headed by SERGEANT in the run-in before fighting back to triumph over the line. With two wins out of his seven runs and never out of the first four, he has been brilliant in his first campaign over hurdles and we’re looking forward to seeing what he can do over the coming season.

REWIRED is a 4-year-old gelding by POWER, out of a MONTJEU mare. Bought for 45,000 GNS in the 2021 Autumn HIT sale, he has already amassed over £26,000 in prize money for his owners!

A fairly useful handicap hurdle that was steadily run, the field still very well bunched early in the straight, the winner better placed than the runner-up.
