Another Victory for LIR SPECIALE

LIR SPECIALE continued his great form of last season with another win at Kempton, ridden by Ray Dawson for Roger Varian. He settled well at the rear of the field before making his challenge at the cutaway rail, demonstrating an exceptional turn of foot to win by almost two lengths.

He earned himself a glowing endorsement from Angus McNae on The Verdict, who noted that: “LIR SPECIALE has a rare turn of foot for a handicapper… He’ll be rated 100 plus easily I think by the time we get to Ascot”.

A breeze-up purchase from Goffs UK for 65,000 GNS, LIR SPECIALE has earned his owners over £55,000 in prize money and we look forward to seeing him at many of the big meetings this year.

LIR SPECIALE (IRE) picked up where left off when last seen; waited with, travelled smoothly, good headway on inner under 2f out, produced to lead entering final 1f.

Form to view positively for all the favourite underperformed, one that had finished last season on the up quickening up well off an ordinary gallop to readily account for one that's most consistent around here.
