AZURE ANGEL Remains Unbeaten on the All-Weather
AZURE ANGEL showed her class once again with a striking seasonal debut at Newcastle yesterday in the 6f Class 3 Handicap. An excellent ride from Aidan Keeley saw the duo tucked in midfield, perfectly poised to strike, before switching left and pursuing the leaders a furlong out. The ultimate professional as always, AZURE ANGEL wasn’t in the least bit swayed by a 226-day break, earning her best TimeForm Rating of 102+ for the effort.
A Book 3 Tattersalls purchase from Norris Bloodstock for only 24,000 GNS, she is now unbeaten on the all-weather and is a filly that we very much feel has plenty to come on the turf too. Fingers crossed we will see her winning at Stakes level this season!

Race Review
Easy to back after 8 months off, but took another step forward to maintain her unbeaten record on all-weather, doing well to peg back one who got first run on her; mid-field, travelled fluently, good headway under 2f out, shaken up approaching final 1f, led final 50 yds; open to further progress under similar conditions and will continue to give a good account.
