DEBORA'S DREAM powers to victory

Today was the day for DEBORA’S DREAM, who has been knocking on the door for some time having placed in three of his five starts. Under a fine ride from apprentice jockey Aidan Keeley, the son of SIOUX NATION got off the mark in Wolverhampton’s 7f Novice Maiden, sitting handy before powering away in the final furlong to take the victory by a length and a half.

Purchased from the Guineas Breeze Up sale this year for 40,000 GNS, DEBORA’S DREAM has earned his owners just under £10,000 in prize money so far, landing in the winners’ enclosure four times out of his six efforts. He looks a very nice prospect for next year as a striking son of SIOUX NATION, who is currently fifth on the leaderboard for three-year-old winners with only his first crop - a simply remarkable achievement.

DEBORA'S DREAM (IRE) is holding is form well and went one better than last time in straightforward fashion; prominent, chased leader entering straight, produced to lead final 1f, pushed out.

A strongly-run maiden and they were soon well strung out, the long-time leader collared by the front 2 in the betting only late on.
