HEDONISTA Heads for the Winning Post

HEDONISTA made a bold bid second time out to break her maiden, battling valiantly against the favourite, PAGE THREE, who put up a solid effort. The pair finished almost four lengths in front of the rest, with HEDONISTA taking the victory by half a length. She demonstrated real fortitude to ignore the intimidation from her rival, showing a fantastic attitude and great professionalism.

Bought at Tattersalls December Yearling Sale for 35,000 GNS, trainer Ed Walker has given HEDONISTA the time and patience to give her the best chance, and that is certainly showing through now. Jockey Saffie Osbourne knows her well and has guided her into the winners' enclosure on both attempts now, having secured second place on her debut last month. We look forward to seeing what the duo have in store for us!
