The Crowd Roars for KODI LION

KODI LION got off the mark on his third start in impressive fashion at Catterick this month for the Charlie Fellowes team in the 6f Restricted Maiden Stakes. He made things look easy under Callum Rodriguez, striking by almost two lengths, and looked to love the softer conditions up North.

He is a gorgeous, scopey gelding by KODI BEAR and was a purchase that we made as a horse in training last year following his eye-catching two-year-old debut at Newcastle. He has taken everything in his stride at home since then and whilst things didn’t go his way on his second start, we were delighted to see him show his potential this month. He has plenty more to come and we are excited to see where we can go with him this summer!

KODI LION (IRE) didn't have much to beat but it's fair to assume he improved a little in landing the odds, settling better than on his reappearance and not needing to be put to hs best, either; disputed lead, asserted over 1f out, pushed out; his short-term prospects are likely to depend on his opening mark.

An ordinary race, Kodi Lion having shown just fair form previously yet sent off odds on and not needing to be put to his best to get the job done.
